About Me – Teacher Jamie
I’m a British teacher, born in the south of England, and I’ve been teaching for more than 20 years in Asia and Europe. I teach English and Computer Science, and I’m currently teaching Computer Science in Shanghai.
I created Funky English because I love web design and social media, and I wanted a site that makes learning English fun. Today, Funky English focuses on:
- Real English: the idioms, slang and phrasal verbs people actually use.
- Pictures for every lesson, so new words stick.
- Quick lessons you can finish in a coffee break.
- A quiz on every page, so you can test yourself.
- A mobile-friendly site you can use anywhere.
